I) Toward 'A':
1. Chunbi.
2. Bow.
3. Present Sais - pivot on balls of feet - heels out - Sais retracted,
Wedging Block, points down.
4. Present Sais - pivot on heels - toes out - Sais retracted - Double Down block.
5. Step back w/Lt. leg into RF Stance -'X' block (head high), arms bent slightly.
6. Shuffle forward into RF Stance, left foot-right foot, present Sais forward; arms
extended - Sais pointing straight upward.
7. Lt. foot forward into Ready Stance - Sais retracted, held in front of chest. Points
down, palms toward body.
Note: Step 3 & 4 are under tension.
II) Turn Left 90 degrees TOWARD 'B'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot into LF Stance, left DB, HB (same arm)
2. Step forward into RF Stance, Rt. Center Punch, Rt. Inside Strike (Lt. hand in chamber,
palm in).
3. Step forward into LF Stance, Lt. Center Punch, Lt. Inside Strike (Rt. hand in chamber,
palm in).
4. Step forward into RF Stance, Rt. Center Punch, Lt. Reverse Punch (Right hand
comes across body to left chamber, Sai points to rear, prongs are perpendicular to floor),
Rt. Inside Strike, Rt. Outside Strike, Rt. DB, Reverse Punch, Center Punch.
III) Turn Left 180 degrees TOWARD 'C'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right leg, into LF Stance, left DB, HB (same arm)
2. Step forward into RF Stance, Rt. Center Punch, Rt. Inside Strike (Lt. hand in chamber).
3. Step forward into LF Stance, Lt. Center Punch, Lt. Inside Strike (Rt. hand in chamber).
4. Step forward into RF Stance, Rt. Center Punch, Lt. Reverse Punch (Right hand comes
across body to left chamber, Sai points to rear, prongs are perpendicular to floor),
Rt. Inside Strike, Rt. Outside Overhead Strike, Rt. DB, Reverse Punch, Center Punch.
IV) Turn Right 90 degrees TOWARD 'D'
1. Turn clockwise, pivot on left foot, into RF Stance - Inside Block, Outside Overhead Strike,
DB, Rev. Punch, Center Punch.
V) Turn Left 180 degrees TOWARD 'A'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot, into LF Stance, left DB, HB (same arm).
2. Step forward into RF Stance, Rt. Center Punch, Rt. Inside Strike (Lt. hand in chamber).
3. Step forward into LF Stance, Lt. Center Punch, Lt. Inside Strike (Rt. hand in chamber).
4. Step forward into RF Stance, Rt. Center Punch, Lt. Reverse Punch (Right hand comes across
body to left chamber, Sai points to rear, prongs are perpendicular to floor), Rt. Inside
Strike, Rt. Outside Overhead Strike, Rt. DB, Reverse Punch, Center Punch.
5. Draw Right foot back (slowly w/tension) to form a Cat Stance, Spreading Block,
points down, palms out.
6. Step forward into RF Stance - Double Down Block.
7. Draw Right foot back to Ready Stance - Double Elbow Strike (points to rear, hands in chamber)
(KIHAP).
8. RF Stance - strike to eyes w/butt end of Sais (KIHAP).
9. Draw Right foot back (slowly w/tension) to Ready Stance - High 'X' Block.
10. Step forward into RF Stance, present Sais, pointing straight upward, arms slightly bent.
11. Draw Right foot back to form a Cat Stance, Wedging Block, points down, palms out.
VI) Turn Left 180 degrees TOWARD 'D'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot into LF Stance, left DB, HB (same arm)
VII) Pivot Right 90 degrees TOWARD 'B'
1. Turn clockwise, pivot on balls of feet into RF Stance - Left Rev. Punch
(Right hand comes across body to left chamber, Sai points to rear, prongs are
perpendicular to floor), Right Inside Strike, Right Outside Overhead Strike,
Right DB, Reverse Punch, Center Punch.
VIII) Turn Left 90 degrees TOWARD 'C'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot into LF Stance - Right Rev.
Punch (Left hand comes across body to left chamber, Sai points to rear, prongs
are perpendicular to floor), Left Inside Strike, Left Outside Strike, Left DB,
Rev. Punch, Center Punch
IX) Pivot Right 90 degrees TOWARD 'D'
1. Turn clockwise, pivot on balls of feet into RF Stance Right Inside Strike.
2. Step forward into LF Stance Left Inside Strike.
3. Step forward into RF Stance, Right Inside Strike, Right Outside Overhead Strike,
Right DB, Rev. Punch, Center Punch.
4. Draw Right foot back (slowly w/tension) to form a Cat Stance, Wedging Block,
points down, palms out.
5. Step forward into RF STANCE - Double Down Spreading Block. Draw Right foot
back to Ready Stance - Double Elbow Strike (points to rear, hands in chamber) (KIHAP).
6. RF Stance - strike to eyes w/butt end of Sais (KIHAP).
7. Draw Right foot back to Ready Stance - High 'X' Block.
8. Step forward into RF Stance, present Sais, pointing straight upward, arms slightly bent.
9. Draw Right foot back (slowly w/tension) to form a Cat Stance, Wedging Block, points down,
palms out.
XI) Turn Left 180 degrees TOWARD 'A'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot, into LF Stance, Left DB.
XII) Turn Left 90 degrees TOWARD 'B'
1. Pivot on left foot, counter clockwise, Bring Right foot forward to form L Horse Stance,
Sais retracted - elbows out to side (shoulder high), butt ends of Sais almost touching.
Scan slowly from Left to Right.
2. Bring Right foot to Left in Ready Stance, retracted Sais in front of chest, points
straight down, palms in.
3. Right foot out into Horse Stance - snap Sais outward to 'W' Block, prongs perpendicular
to arms.
XIII) Turn Right 90 degrees TOWARD 'A'
1. Pivot clockwise on left foot, Retract Sais, Bring Right foot back to a Cross Stance
(Right leg behind Left), Strike down w/butt ends of Sais (KIHAP).
2. Step forward into RF Stance - Right Inside Strike, Outside Overhead Strike, DB,
Rev. Punch, Center Punch.
XIV) Turn Left 180 degrees TOWARD 'D'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot, into LF Stance, Left DB, HB (same arm).
2. Step forward into RF Stance, Center Punch.
3. Step forward into LF Stance, Center Punch.
4. Step toward 'D' w/Right foot into Horse Stance, Side Punch (KIHAP).
5. Remain in Horse Stance, Side Punch position: look Left then Right - strike to Right
w/extended Sai, strike to Left w/extended Sai.
XV) Turn Left 180 degrees TOWARD 'A'
1. Turn counter clockwise, pivot on right foot, Bring left foot back to right forming
ready stance w/extended Sais pointing down in front of legs.
2. Step forward w/Right foot into RB Stance, Knife Hand Block Sais extended.
3. Step back w/Right foot into LB Stance, Knife Hand Block Sais extended.
4. Step back w/left foot to form left standing Keum-Gang. Right leg up w/left arm in HB,
right arm in DB position.
5. Step down w/right foot (slowly w/tension) into Ready position, Wedging Block in
front of body - arm then down into Double DB.
Left foot in - Chunbi.
Bow.
