BO IN CHAMBER: BOW TO PARTNER


BO KUMITE #1

ATTACKER (#1) AND (#2) DROP BACK (LBS - BO IN GUARDING, LOWER THIRD HAND POSITION).

  1. ATTACKER # 1 MOVES FORWARD RAPIDLY FORMING A RFS WITH A RIGHT CENTER THRUSTING ATTACK TO MID-SECTION OF DEFENDER #2.

  2. DEFENDER #2 MOVES BACK FORMING A RBS EXECUTING A CIRCULAR DOWN BLOCK AGAINST THE BO ATTACK.

  3. #2 IMMEDIATELY COUNTERS WITH AN OVERHEAD STRiKE TO ATTACKER'S COLLARBONE (CLAVICLE AREA). STANCE REMAINS THE SAME. STRIKiNG TECHNIQUE IS INITIATED FROM THE DOWN BLOCK POSITION IN A LEFT TO RIGHT ARCING MOTION.

  4. #2 STEPS FORWARD INTO A LFS. EXECUTE TRIPLE COUNTER STRIKE. SEQUENCE FINISHES THE ATTACK BY #2 (LEFT THRUST TO RIBS, SHORT RIGHT DOWNWARD STRIKE TO NECK, LEFT HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO NECK. (KIHAP)

  5. #1 & #2 FALL BACK TO LBS (GUARDING POSITION). CHAMBER BO, STANDING POSITION, BOW TO PARTNER.


BO KUMITE #2

ATTACKER (#1) AND DEFENDER (#2) DROP BACK (LBS - BO IN GUARDING, LOWER THIRD HAND POSITION).

  1. ATTACKER # 1 MOVES FORWARD RAPIDLY FORMING A RFS WITH A RIGHT CENTER THRUSTING ATTACK TO MID-SECTION OF DEFENDER #2.

  2. DEFENDER #2 MOVES BACK FORMING A RBS, EXECUTING A CIRCULAR DOWN BLOCK AGAINST THE BO ATTACK.

  3. #2 IMMEDIATELY COUNTERS WITH A DOWNWARD STRIKE TO THE LEFT SHOULDER OF #1. STRIKiNG TECHNIQUE IS INITIATED FROM THE DOWN BLOCK POSITION BY MOVING THE BO QUICKLY ACROSS THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BODY AND DRIVING ALMOST DIRECTLY OVER HEAD TO THE ATTACKER'S LEFT SHOULDER.

  4. #2 STEPS FORWARD INTO A LFS. EXECUTE TRIPLE COUNTER STRIKE. SEQUENCE FINISHES THE ATTACK BY #2 (LEFT THRUST TO RIBS, SHORT RIGHT DOWNWARD STRIKE TO NECK, LEFT HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO NECK. (KIHAP)

  5. #1 & #2 FALL BACK TO LBS (GUARDING POSITION). CHAMBER BO, STANDING POSITION, BOW TO PARTNER.


BO KUMITE #3

ATTACKER (#1) AND DEFENDER (#2) DROP BACK (LBS - BO IN GUARDING, LOWER THIRD HAND POSITION).

  1. ATTACKER # 1 MOVES FORWARD RAPIDLY FORMING A RFS WITH A RIGHT CENTER THRUSTING ATTACK TO MID-SECTION OF DEFENDER #2.

  2. DEFENDER #2 MOVES BACK FORMING A RBS, EXECUTING A CIRCULAR DOWN BLOCK AGAINST THE BO ATTACK.

  3. #2 IMMEDIATELY COUNTERS WITH A HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO THE NECK (LEFT SIDE) OF #1. STRIKING TECHNIQUE IS INITIATED FROM THE DOWN BLOCK POSITION BY MOVING THE BO QUICKLY TO THE LEFT ACROSS THE BODY INTO AN OVERHEAD SWINGING TECHNIQUE (CCW).

  4. #2 STEPS FORWARD INTO A LFS. EXECUTE TRIPLE COUNTER STRIKE. SEQUENCE FINISHES THE ATTACK BY #2 (LEFT THRUST TO RIBS, SHORT RIGHT DOWNWARD STRIKE TO NECK, LEFT HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO NECK. (KIHAP)

  5. #1 & #2 FALL BACK TO LBS (GUARDING POSITION). CHAMBER BO, STANDING POSITION, BOW TO PARTNER


BO KUMITE #4

ATTACKER (#1) AND DEFENDER (#2) DROP BACK (LBS - BO IN GUARDING, LOWER THIRD HAND POSITION).

  1. ATTACKER # 1 MOVES FORWARD RAPIDLY FORMING A RFS WITH A RIGHT CENTER THRUSTING ATTACK TO MID-SECTION OF DEFENDER #2.

  2. DEFENDER #2 MOVES BACK FORMING A LBS, EXECUTING A CIRCULAR DOWN BLOCK AGAINST THE BO ATTACK.

  3. #2 IMMEDIATELY COUNTERS WITH A THRUSTING TECHNIQUE TO THE THROAT OF #1. STRIKING TECHNIQUE IS INITIATED FROM THE DOWN BLOCK POSITION BY PULLING THE BO SLIGHTLY INWARD TOWARD THE BODYAND QUICKLY DRIVING THE BO FORWARD TO THE THROAT AREA.

  4. #2 STEPS FORWARD INTO A LFS. EXECUTE TRIPLE COUNTER STRIKE. SEQUENCE FINISHES THE ATTACK BY #2 (LEFT THRUST TO RIBS, SHORT RIGHT DOWNWARD STRIKE TO NECK, LEFT HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO NECK. (KIIHAP)

  5. #1 & #2 FALL BACK TO RBS (GUARDING POSITION). CHAMBER BO, STANDING POSITION, BOW TO PARTNER


BO KUMITE #5

ATTACKER (#1) AND DEFENDER (#2) DROP BACK (LBS - BO IN GUARDING, LOWER THIRD HAND POSITION).

  1. ATTACKER # 1 MOVES FORWARD RAPIDLY FORMING A RFS WITH A RIGHT CENTER THRUSTING ATTACK TO MID-SECTION OF DEFENDER #2.

  2. DEFENDER #2 MOVES BACK FORMING A LBS, EXECUTING A CIRCULAR DOWN BLOCK AGAINST THE BO ATTACK.

  3. #2 IMMEDIATELY COUNTERS WITH A HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO CHIN AREA OF #1. STRIKING TECHNIQUE IS INITIATED FROM THE DOWN BLOCK POSITION BY PULLING THE BO INWARD TO THE CHEST, SHIFTING TO A RFS BY TAKING A 1/2 STEP FORWARD TO EXECUTE THE STRIKE. BO IS HELD AT THE MIDDLE HALF WIT AN OVERHAND POSITION.

  4. #2 STEPS (SHUFFLE) INTO A LFS. EXECUTE TRIPLE COUNTER STRIKE. SEQUENCE FINISHES THE ATTACK BY #2 (LEFT THRUST TO RIBS, SHORT RIGHT DOWNWARD STRIKE TO NECK, LEFT HORIZONTAL STRIKE TO NECK. (KIHAP)

  5. #1 & #2 FALL BACK TO RBS (GUARDING POSITION). CHAMBER BO, STANDING POSITION, BOW TO PARTNER
