Chunbi (both kama in right hand).
Bow.
Facing A
1. Raise first the right hand with both kama to a level position in the middle of your body and then
raise the left hand to clasp the kama in both hands. As the left hand joins the right, place a kama in each
hand, at the same time step out with your left leg placing, feet hip width apart. The arms should be
extended and the blades pointing upward and away from yourself.
2. Step backward with your left foot into a short right front stance and cross your arms, with the left on
top. Raise the right knee high as you cross the arms above your shoulders and strike down as you step
forward into a right front stance.
3. Step forward into a left front stance, raise the right kama above and behind the head and strike
forward in a circular motion with the point to the side of the opponent's neck. Draw the right kama
downward and toward yourself slowly in a pulling motion, simultaneously draw the left kama toward
the left hip.
4. Step forward into a right front stance, raise the left kama above and behind the head and strike
forward in a circular motion with the point to the side of the opponent's neck. Draw the left kama
downward and toward yourself slowly in a pulling motion, simultaneously draw the right kama toward
the right hip.
5. Step forward into a left front stance, raise the right kama above and behind the head and strike
forward in a circular motion with the point to the side of the opponent's neck. Draw the right kama
downward and toward yourself slowly in a pulling motion, simultaneously draw the left kama toward
the left hip.
6. Bring the right foot forward to the left and stand in a ready stance. Both Kama are held with the
elbows slightly bent and the points of the Kama extended forward. Scan from the left to the right.
Facing B
7. Turn 180 degrees in a counterclockwise direction into a modified horse stance with the left leg
locked out. While turning, raise both Kama above the head and strike downward with both kama in a
circular motion.
8. Pivot your stance to form a modified horse stance with the right leg locked out. While pivoting,
raise both Kama above the head and strike downward with both kama in a circular motion.
9. Draw your right foot to the left and stand in a ready stance. Both Kama are held with the elbows
slightly bent and the points of the Kama extended forward.
10. Step forward with your left foot into a left front stance. Execute a reverse cross strike with the left
kama, bringing the right kama into the chamber.
11. Step forward with your right foot into a right front stance. Execute a reverse cross strike with the
right kama, bringing the left kama into the chamber.
12. Step forward with your left foot into a left front stance. Execute a reverse cross strike with the left
kama, bringing the right kama into the chamber.
13. Draw your right foot to the left and stand in a ready stance. Both Kama are held with the elbows
lightly bent and the points of the Kama extended forward.
Facing C
14. Turn 270 degrees in a counterclockwise direction into a crane stance with the left leg raised
executing a downward strike with the left kama, bringing the right kama into the chamber. Stepping
forward into a left front stance execute a single overhead strike with the left Kama.
Facing D
15. Turning clockwise 180 degrees bring your right leg up into a crane stance. Execute a downward
strike with the right kama bringing the left kama into the chamber. Stepping forward into a right front
stance execute a single overhead strike with the right Kama.
Facing A
16. Draw your right foot to the left and stand in a ready stance facing forward. Both Kama are held
with the elbows slightly bent and the points of the Kama extended forward.
17. Step backward with your left foot into a short right front stance and cross your arms, with the left
on top. Raise the right knee high as you cross the arms above your shoulders and strike down as you
step forward into a right front stance.
18. Switch into a reverse grip on the Kama.
19. Step forward into a left front stance and execute a left high block and bring the right kama into the
chamber. In a continuous circular motion with the left kama, execute an inside reverse strike to the
neck.
20. Step forward into a right front stance and execute a right high block and bring the left kama into
the chamber. In a continuous circular motion with the right kama, execute an inside reverse strike to
the neck.
21. Step forward into a left front stance and execute a left high block and bring the right kama into the
chamber. In a continuous circular motion with the left kama, execute an inside reverse strike to the
neck.
22. Raise the right leg into a crane stance, crossing both arms in front. Step forward into a right front
stance and execute a double inside reverse strike to the opponents midsection.
23. Draw your left foot to the right and stand in a ready stance simultaneously switching into a normal
grip on the Kama. Both Kama are held with the elbows slightly bent and the points of the Kama
extended forward.
24. Step backward with your right foot into a left front stance. Execute a reverse cross strike with the
left kama, bringing the right kama into the chamber.
25. Step backward with your left foot into a right front stance. Execute a reverse cross strike with the
right kama, bringing the left kama into the chamber.
26. Step backward with your right foot into a left front stance. Execute a reverse cross strike with the
left kama, bringing the right kama into the chamber.
27. Draw your right foot to the left and stand in a ready stance facing forward. Both Kama are held
with the elbows slightly bent and the points of the Kama extended forward.
Facing C
28. Facing to the left, lift your left leg forming a crane stance. Simultaneously execute a downward
strike with the left Kama and a high block with the right Kama.
29. Step forward into a left front stance, raise both kama and execute a double side strike to the head
of your opponent Raising both Kama, execute a double side strike to the midsection of your opponent.
Facing D
30. Facing to the right, lift your right leg forming a crane stance. Simultaneously execute a
downward strike with the right Kama and a high block with the left Kama.
31. Step forward into a right front stance, raise both kama and execute a double side strike to the head
of your opponent. Raising both Kama, execute a double side strike to the midsection of your opponent.
Facing A
32. Bring the right foot back to form a left back stance facing the front, execute a knifehand block.
33. Step forward into a right back stance, execute a knifehand block.
34. Step back into a deep left back stance, simultaneously execute a downward strike with the left
Kama and a high block with the right kama.
35. Draw your right foot to the left and stand in a ready stance facing forward. Both Kama are held
with the elbows slightly bent and the points of the Kama extended forward.
36. Execute blade cleaning technique.
37. Bring both kama to right hand.
