TOWARD 1:

  1. Lunge to long right front stance – forward thrust.
  2. Draw right foot back to standard front stance – hook and break or disarm weapon.
  3. Step left foot to left front stance – invert high right hand – lateral butt strike to temple followed by butt thrust to solar plexus.
  4. Right foot steps behind left foot in twisted stance – snap butt up to chin.
  5. Pivoting on right foot, swing left foot 180° clockwise to left front stance, while changing to left hand high normal grip on nunte, and execute a diagonal slashing block – left to right – then forward thrust.
  6. Draw right foot to left.
TOWARD 2:
  1. As you draw left foot to ready stance bring nunte in vertical position to right side – left hand high bring nunte to left side and change to right hand high – inverted grip.
  2. Short right back stance, vertical sweep block at 45° to right front.
  3. Lunge thrust, still at 45° to long right front stance.
TOWARD 3:
  1. Draw back to ready stance with nunte on left side in vertical position – swing nunte to right side and change to left high inverted grip.
  2. Short left back stance, 45° to left front, with vertical sweep block.
  3. Still toward 45° left front, lunge thrust to long left front stance.
TOWARD 1:
  1. Draw back to ready stance, right hand in normal grip on top.
  2. Waving hand sequence – right cat stance diagonal downward slash to opponents wrist left to right – swing butt end from left side to right side – diagonal downward slash, right to left, to opponents other wrist.
  3. Step to right back stance with strike to temple and hook behind neck.
  4. Draw right foot back 6" as you pull nunte back toward you – twist left foot to front to short right front stance as you drive nunte (held vertically in front you) to groin, then chest.
  5. Quick step left foot forward to left walking stance and immediately pivot 270° clockwise to horse stance, right side toward 1 – body faces 5, – thrust downward to 1.
TOWARD 4:
  1. Drop right foot back 180° clockwise to narrow horse stance – simultaneously spinning spear in clockwise circles in front of chest.
  2. Step left foot in front of right into walking stance while still spinning spear.
  3. Step right forward – still spinning.
  4. Step left forward – still spinning.
  5. Step right forward – still spinning.
  6. Step left out wide – leaning low to left - duck under opponents swing – duck back to right side – right foot forward to right front stance hook behind neck and pull down and to left.
  7. Drop to left knee – horizontal sweep butt of spear to shins of opponent – twirl and thrust spear to tripped opponent.
  8. Step up in right back stance with paddle sweep block (J stroke) right side to left side, middle shaft vertical block – left to right side – overhead strike followed by short thrust.
  9. Retreat 3 steps doing figure 8's with butt end of spear – draw to left cat stance spear on right side – left hand high – then step to left back stance – long thrust.
TOWARD 5:
  1. Draw back to left cat stance, then drop step 270° with left foot (toward 5) with back thrust and then snap to chin with butt of weapon.
  2. Pivot 180° counter clockwise on left foot to right front stance, hook and reap ankle - draw left foot to right knee then step down at 45° (– toward right front) in horse stance with left foot closest to 5 and thrust down to straddled opponent.
TOWARD 1:
  1. Step left foot forward to left front stance with clockwise then counter clockwise clock block.
  2. Slide right foot forward about 12"-18" – immediately slide left foot forward same distance and smash chin with shaft held vertically in front of your body. (left hand high – reverse grip).
TOWARD 5:
Cross step right foot toward 5 – reverse grip thrust (– left hand high) with prong — spin counter clockwise to change to right hand grip – left foot moves forward to left back stance with overhead smash and then thrust.
FACING 5:
Step right foot forward to parallel stance with nunte held horizontally across thighs (prong points to your right). Hop to horse stance as you snap arms up and fully extended at chest level to loosen bear hug. Circle nunte counter clockwise to left while pivoting both feet 90° to left to escape bear hug. Body is facing 4.
FACING 6:
Bring right foot to center line and pivot 90° to left (you are now facing 6) and step to short right front stance – sweep butt end of spear to back of opponent knee – spin nunte and thrust down to fallen opponent.
TOWARD 4:
  1. Cross left foot behind right (toward 4) into cross stance – reverse thrust to throat.
  2. Turning counter clockwise, swing right foot to right front stance with diagonal hooking block.
  3. Step left foot forward to left front stance with forward thrust.
TOWARD 6:
  1. Turn 90° to left by stepping right foot across left foot and spinning nunte in counter clockwise circles on right side of body.
  2. Step left foot out to walking stance, continue spinning.
  3. Step right foot ahead in walking stance, continue spinning.
  4. Step left foot ahead in walking stance, continue spinning.
  5. Step right foot ahead and then draw back to right cat stance with nunte on left side of body.
  6. Step out right foot to right back stance with thrust.
  7. Draw back to cat stance then move forward with skip center kick – step down to right back with long lunge thrust.
TOWARD 5:
  1. Cross step right foot back past left, reverse nunte and thrust back to thigh.
  2. Step left foot back, turning counter clockwise, to left front stance with butt strike to temple, reverse direction – hook ankle and pull toward right shoulder.
  3. Pivot 45° to left on left foot – step right foot to horse stance – drive nunte point down with both hands.
  4. Bring nunte up to vertical on center line, pivoting on balls of both feet, clockwise - 90° to right with throw down motion, thrust down to side to thrown opponent. (both feet together).
    Step left foot over downed opponent toward 1.
  5. Step right foot towards 1 to right back stance - nunte at 45° to ground, point down on left side - both hands in reverse grip – right hand near prong.
TOWARD 6: (hand positions same as above)
  1. Turn 90° right on right foot to left front stance with horizontal butt strike to temple – prong to groin – overhead smash – short thrust to face.
  2. Right foot crosses in front of left – rising strike to hands – hook and entangle wrists, pull nunte back and circle over arms – feet turn 45° to right in open stance – pull down with right hand and lever up with left to enact pull down throw. Left heel kick to downed opponent.
Facing Front: Facing 1 – Ready stance – nunte in left hand – butt on floor. Left foot lunges forward – thrust prong under chin with left hand – draw left foot back 6"– butt snap up to chin – reverse direction of spin – 360° circle to collarbone. TOWARD 6:
  1. Step right foot to right – butt snap back thrust to solar plexus – snap up to chin.
  2. Pivot 180° counter clockwise on right foot to left front stance – hook reap to ankle – draw left foot to right knee and step down with thrust. – (step into horse stance).
TOWARD 1:
  1. Step forward to right front stance with right foot – clock block:
  2. Counter clockwise/clockwise-
  3. Slide right foot forward 12-18", immediately slide left foot forward and smash vertical shaft to face of opponent.
TOWARD 6:
  1. Cross step left foot toward 6 – reverse grip thrust with prong – spin to change to left hand high grip as left foot moves forward to right back stance – overhead smash and thrust.
FACING 6:
  1. Step left foot forward to parallel stance with nunte held horizontally across thighs (point to your left) hop to horse stance as you snap arms up and fully extended at chest level to loosen bear hug. Circle nunte clockwise to right while pivoting on both feet 90° to escape bear hug. Body is facing 4.
FACING 5:
  1. Bring left foot to center line – pivot 90° to right and step left foot to left front stance, sweep to back of knees and spin nunte and thrust down.
TOWARD 4:
  1. Cross right foot behind, left (toward 4). Reverse thrust to throat.
  2. Pivot 180° clockwise on right foot to left front stance with vertical slash.
  3. Step forward to right front stance with short thrust to face.
TOWARD 5:
  1. Turn 90° to right by stepping left foot across right and spinning nunte in clockwise circles on left side of body.
  2. Step right foot out to walking stance, continue spinning.
  3. Step left foot to walking stance, continue spinning.
  4. Step right foot ahead in walking stance, continue spinning.
  5. Step left foot ahead and then draw back to left cat stance with nunte on right side of body.
  6. Step out left foot to left back stance with thrust.
  7. Draw back to cat stance then move forward with skip center kick and step down to right back stance – then long lunge thrust.
TOWARD 6:
  1. Cross step left foot back past right, reverse nunte and thrust back to thigh.
  2. Step right foot back, turning clockwise to right front stance with butt strike to temple, reverse direction – hook ankle and pull toward left shoulder.
  3. Pivot 45° to right on right foot – step left foot to horse stance, drive nunte point down with both hands. Bring right foot to left in closed stance.
  4. Bring nunte up to vertical on your center line, pivoting on balls of both feet counter clockwise 90° (to left) with wrap - around throw and thrust down to right side.
  5. Step left foot over downed opponent, (toward 1) to left back stance - nunte at 45° to ground - point down on right side - both hands in reverse grip – left hand near prong.
TOWARD 5:
  1. Turn 90° to left on left foot to right front stance with horizontal butt strike to temple – then prong to groin – overhead smash – short thrust to face.
  2. Left foot crosses in front of right with rising strike to hands – hook and entangle wrists – pull nunte back and circle over arms, feet turn 45° to left in open stance, pull down with left hand and lever up and over with right to enact pull down throw. Right heel kick to downed opponent.
Turn and Face 1 – series of figure 8's – then – then chunbi.
