Numbers 1-11: Indicate the short form or 1st half of the long form.

NOMENCLATURE:
Head: End of staff with the wolf's teeth.
Spear Tip or Tip: End of staff with spear point.
Shaft: Any part of the wooden middle of staff.
Facing A START at D
Staff in right hand
- Chunbi-Bow
- 3 Two handed figure 8's in ready stance
- Step left foot 45Ί to left rear-forming right diagonal deep back stance facing B.
Left hand in knife hand guard by left temple staff teeth down block over right foot
TOWARD B
- 1-a: Feet turn toward B into long walking stance as you spin teeth counter clockwise overhead to right to left downward diagonal slash.

- 1-b: Step left foot forward to left walking stance as you swing staff overhead clockwise left to right downward diagonal slash.

- 1-c: Step right foot forward to right walking stance as you swing staff counter clockwise overhead in right to left horizontal slash: (as teeth reach center line sharply pull staff toward you right hand to your abdomen- feet shift to right back stance.

- 1-d: Skip left foot past right foot-stepping right foot to right lunging stance with high lunging pool cue thrust.

- 1-e: As you recover staff draw foot to right front stance.
Toward C
- 2-a: Step right foot in front of left in cross stance towards C as you spin staff 360Ί on right side of body to downward smash.

- 2-b: Step left foot to left walking stance with 360Ί spin of staff on left side to downward smash.
-
- 2-c: Step right foot to right walking stance spinning staff 360Ί on right side into low leg sweep.
-
- 2-d: Pull staff back-then step to left cat stance as you do downward left to right slash with spear tip- then thrust spear tip solar plexus opponent (kihap) end in short horse stance left foot nearest C.
Facing A
- 3-a: Draw left foot to right foot and form right cat stance facing A.

- 3-b: Hands return to normal grip, spin staff in hands as you pick up right foot-suddenly lunge forward toward A with pool cue thrust. (kihap)

- 3-c: Drop step right foot back forming a long left oblique stance as you thrust spear tip behind you towards D.

- 3-d: Pivoting 180Ί counter clockwise on right foot left foot steps to left front stance facing D simultaneously execute a right to left downward diagonal slash to legs of opponent.

- 3-e: Immediately jump turn 360Ί counter clockwise landing in low left front stance with simultaneous horizontal strike to side of opponents neck/head.

- 3-f: Pivot 180Ί clockwise on right foot, drawing left foot up to form right back stance, as you perform a vertical sweep block (tooth head points up). Now facing A.

- 3-g: Step left foot towards A forming left back stance with left to right horizontal temple strike with spear tip.
-
- 3-h: Step right foot toward A forming short horse stance (body faces C) with a rising strike with staff head to opponents groin. Sharply pull staff back towards you left hand ends above left shoulder staff at 45Ί down angle.

- 3-i: Hop turn 180Ί clockwise, landing on left foot, right foot going behind left to form X stance. Staff hand above right shoulder with 45Ί down angle on staff.

- 3-j: Spear tip thrust to downed opponent.
Toward C
- 4-a: Twist body 270Ί counter clockwise to face C in right back stance as you do left to right horizontal strike to body (Note: left hand gripping nearest spear tip is under right arm.)

- 4-b: As you step left foot toward C into left back stance reverse order of hands on shaft and execute right to left horizontal strike to body (right hand now under left arm).

- 4-c: Step right foot to right back stance and do same strike as in 4-a- but to back of knees of opponent.
-
- 4-d: Maintain same foot position bring staff to left side spin 360Ί with overhead smash (note left hand near head in reverse grip).
-
- 4-e: Maintain foot position: 360Ί on right side of body with overhead smash right hand ends in reverse grip near head.
-
- 4-f: High center kick with left leg as you pull staff from opponent.
-
- 4-g: As you recock kick, pivot 360Ί clockwise on right foot.
Toward D
- 5-a: Facing C (D is at your back) begin right handed assisted single hand spear tip 8's as you place left foot down to form right front stance.

- 5-b: Right foot drops to left front stance as tip swings to right.
-
- 5-c: Left foot drops to right front stance as tip swing to left.
-
- 5-d: Drop right leg to long, low left front stance staff guarding right leg head of staff by right foot left hand in heart hand guard.
Facing F
- 6-a: Pivot both feet 180Ί clockwise as you swing staff 360Ί counter clockwise overhead

- 6-b: As you drop to left knee again swing staff 360Ί counter clockwise overhead.
Toward E
- 7-a: Still kneeling- move right foot to face B simultaneously execute a left to right sweep ankle high.

- 7-b: As you stand to right walking stance execute an S block vertical sweep- left to right head down: vertical sweep block head up right to left: vertical sweep block head down left to right with short step to left walking stance on 2nd block then to right walking on 3rd block.

- 7-c: Two hand high block from left front stance.
-
- 7-d: High right center kick and 2 handed shove with staff shaft parallel to ground at chest height as you step right foot down to right front stance.

- 7-e: Bring both hands above head as in high block- but reverse the left hand grip. Drive head of staff down to ground as in spearing motion twist the head then reverse the twist and sharply pull the staff back out of opponent.
Toward F
- 8-a: Reverse grips but maintain same hand position as you pivot 135Ί clockwise on left foot to right walking stance sharply press left hand down and pull right hand up levering head into opponents groin roll wrists toward body, tearing groin.

- 8-b: Spin staff 360Ί clockwise on left side as you step to left walking stance reverse hands.
-
- 8-c: Spin staff 360Ί on right side as you step to right walking stance reverse hand and grip positions.
-
- 8-d: Same as 8-b.

- 8-e: Step to modified right front stance with vertical guard on right side.
Toward D
- 9-a: At F, pivot on left foot 90Ί counter clockwise step right foot to right front stance as you spin staff 360Ί on right side as head of staff comes above your head release left hand and complete left to right horizontal slash with right hand nearest staff head end lock staff between right arm and side, strong hip snap left to right.

- 9-b: Step left foot to left front stance as you change to left hand control grip on staff and execute right to left horizontal strike (use same locking and hip techniques on left side, you are in a left front stance).

- 9-c: Same as 9-b, but on right side.
-
- 9-d: Same as 9-b, but as you complete slash continue to swing staff behind back in strong sweeping swing and grab by the right hand and continue the swing until you complete 360Ί sweep grab with left hand and continue 360Ί sweeps as you turn complete 360Ί counter clockwise circle. Use a number of short steps, feet are more or less side by side 6 to 12 apart. Each turn of the feet will cover between 60Ί and 90Ί, requiring 4 or 5 turns to complete full circle.

- 9-e: As you again face D you end the sweep as a downward right to left diagonal slash right hand near head, left near tip in normal grips staff ends on left side of body.

- 9-f: Pivot 180Ί on left foot forming narrow right front stance facing F executing circle trap with teeth (left to right).
-
- 9-g: Reverse momentum of staff to high left to right horizontal strike left hand and staff ends tucked under right arm.
-
- 9-h: Snap hips sharply to left as feet pivot 10Ί counter clockwise to facing D, snapping head of staff right to left. Head end stops face D you are still looking over right shoulder at F.

- 9-i: Pivoting 180Ί clockwise on right foot to left back stance vertical guard position.
Toward G
- 10-a: Pivot 90Ί counter clockwise on left foot to right walking stance as you spin staff overhead in counter clockwise circle.

- 10-b: Step to left walking stance as you continue to spin staff.

- 10-c: Right walking stance overhead spin.

- 10-d: Left walking stance with overhead spin.
At G
- 10-e: As you end spin staff diagonal across body spear tip on left side: draw right foot to left and pivot 45Ί clockwise to form right cat stance (back is to D).

- 10-f: Lunge with right foot and midline thrust, pivot feet to oblique stance position, as you snap to groin then reverse to head (use these two snap strikes only the right hand in a reverse grip near center of staff).

- 10-g: Bring right foot to left foot in open stance.
Toward D
- 11-a: Drop left foot towards D into deep back okinawan stance as you transfer the staff to the left hand for down block over the left leg.

- 11-b: Maintaining the same stance- swing the staff head to right shoulder and grasp staff with right hand normal grip near head end and thrust diagonally up past right shoulder.

- 11-c: Keep same stance thrust spear tip of staff towards D to opponents midsection.
-
- 11-d: (Right grip reverses) Pivot 1800 counter clockwise toward D go to right knee with right to left horizontal strike to temple.
If doing long form disregard sections 11-e to 11-g and go to section 12a.
- 11-e: Stand and hop over downed opponent, landing in right cross stance: simultaneously swing spear tip (left hand leading) across body to right side then do downward strike with head end (right hand leads left hand on shaft tucked under right arm).
- 11-f: Bring left foot next to right in open stance and execute 3 two handed figure 8's.

- 11-g: End with staff in right hand on right side tip on floor by right foot.

(CONTINUATION OF LONG FORM)
Toward C
- 12-a: Stand and step to right back stance with 2 low parries with head of staff in downward position (right hand) left then right then poke staff to abdomen.
-
- 12-b: Step left foot to left back stance as you change both hand positions and grips. With head of staff upward, perform right then left parries then thrust to face.
-
- 12-c: Step to right walking stance and bring head of staff to left shoulder and execute downward smash.
-
- 12-d: Step to left walking stance and execute 360Ί spin to downward smash.
-
- 12-c: Step to right walking stance as you reverse right hand grip (from reverse to normal) and change hand positions head of staff up around left shoulder then immediately execute left to right horizontal strike to midline.
-
- 12-f: Pull staff back to left side and pass around back to right side for right to left horizontal strike.
Toward B
- 13-a: Jump over opponent turning clockwise 135Ί landing in left cross stance facing B as you execute vertical block with head end down right hand lead.

- 13-b: Without moving feet: execute a 360Ί clock block counter clockwise then a 360Ί clock block clock wise. Note: To do block from end position in 13-a snap head up counter clockwise with right hand as the left hand pushes down and then releases staff As staff's tip comes all the way around the left hand stops and grabs the shaft in vertical position. Immediately push the staff back in the clockwise rotation as the right hand snaps the head up and left hand pushes and releases tip end. As the staff completes its clockwise rotation the left hand catches it in vertical position with original hand position and grip.

- 13-c: Step right foot forward to right front stance with left to right downward diagonal strike.

- 13-d: Step left foot forward to left front stance with right to left downward diagonal strike.
Toward D
- 14-a: Draw right foot to left and form right cat stance with tip end of staff over left shoulder and shaft parallel to ground. Left hand near tip end in normal grip right hand nearest head in reverse grip. Snap head to left side of opponents face with a short push quickly circle head over opponents head and snap to right side of opponents face with a short pulling action.

- 14-b: Retract staff and drive to abdomen.

- 14-c: Pivot on right foot to horse stance (left foot towards D) with a horizontal slash left to right angled slightly with tip slashing throat area.
-
- 14-d: Draw right foot to within 6 of left as you thrust tip to abdomen, retract tip forcefully.
Toward A
- 14-e: Step right foot toward A, forming right back stance with pushing vertical block, head of staff up, right hand high and both hands in normal grip.
-
- 14-f: Sweep spear tip in clockwise from 6:00 to 2:00 to clear opponents guard. As you drop to right knee sweep spear tip behind opponents legs dropping him to his back. Finish with downward smash with head end.
Toward B
- 15-a: Still kneeling, bring staff to right side and sweep head of staff toward B in clearing action.

- 15-b: As you stand, form right back stance as you reverse right hand near head to reverse grip. As opponent closes, shove staff head up under their chin and throat.

- 15-c: Step to left cross stance with spear tip jab to opponent's feet.
-
- 15-d: Take quick short step with left foot and immediately cross right foot behind to left cross stance as you jab spear tip to abdomen.
-
- 15-e: Same foot work as 15-d but hard thrust with spear tip end to throat.
From B Toward D
- 16-a: At B Pivot counter clockwise on left foot 45Ί (facing B but with back to D) into left walking stance with diagonal right to left downward strike with head end.
-
- 16-b: As you drop left foot back to create a right walking stance change right hand grip near head to a reverse grip and execute left to right downward diagonal strike with tip.
-
- 16-c: Drop right foot back forming left waking stance with high block (staff held parallel to ground overhead).
-
- 16-d: Drop left foot back, forming right walking stance with vertical block (head end up) to left side.
-
- 16-e: Drop right foot back to left walking stance with vertical block on right side. Keep hands and arms in same position, just rotate hips and torso.
-
- 16-f: Drop left foot back to right walking stance with low pushing block staff parallel to floor.
-
- 16-g: Drop right foot back to left walking staff as you change grip of hand by head back to a normal grip, swing staff head up and over head to left shoulder area and execute a left to right downward diagonal strike. (left hand on staff near tip and under right arm).

- 16-i: As you drop left foot back to right front stance, bring staff across body and release left hand. As staff starts to wrap around body grasp the staff with your left hand near your right hand but in a reverse grip. Release with right hand and reach around behind you as left hand continues to pass staff behind lower back. Behind back, again grasp staff near left hand with right hand in a reverse grip and release left hand.

- 16-j: As you bring staff to near vertical position in front of you, regrip with left hand nearer tip with normal grip, turn body and feet 180Ί counter clockwise forming left twisted stance while executing downward smash with head of staff. You should now be facing E.

- 16-k: Step to right front stance as you sweep spear tip left to right.
-
- 16-1: Step left foot forward then pivot 180Ί clockwise on left foot as you deliver right turning kick to E. Recover to right back stance facing G.
Toward G
- 17-a: Rising right to left diagonal slash from right back stance.
-
- 17-b: As you reverse hand positions step left foot forward to left back stance with rising left to right diagonal slash.
-
- 17-c: Step right foot to right back stance as you reverse hand position and execute same slash as in 17-a.
-
- 17-d: As you reverse hand positions step left foot forward to left back stance with rising left to right diagonal slash.
-
- 17-e: Same footwork as in 17-c, but change to downward slash (hand near head in reverse grip). Note: In downward slashes the hand change occurs by releasing the normal grip hand near the spear tip as the heads downward path reaches knee height. Continue to circle staff up and catch the head end with free hand in reverse grip. As the circle becomes diagonal slash from the alternate side, the hand near spear tip releases and immediately re-attaches with normal grip.

- 17-f: Left walking stance with left to right downward diagonal slash.
-
- 17-g: Right walking stance with right to left downward diagonal slash.
Toward D
- 18-a: As staff circles up change hand positions as in previous moves but stop shaft on left side parallel to ground, spear tip points forward.

- 18-b: Pivot on right foot 315Ί clockwise into left crane with midline horizontal strike with head of staff.
-
- 18-c: Step left foot down to left walking stance with thrust of staff head to abdomen.
-
- 18-d: Step right foot to right walking stance with clockwise vertical circle of staff on right side.
-
- 18-e: Same move as 18-d but on left side.
-
- 18-f: Same as 18-d but as staff completes 360Ί stop it release left hand and snap staff to down block as you step left foot to left front stance. (head of staff now by right foot left hand in heart guard position).

- 18-g: Swing staff diagonally up to left front, letting right hand slide near spear tip end as right foot comes to left foot. Spin staff overhead by spear tip end as you slowly turn in place counter clockwise. Continue to turn and spin until body completes a 360Ί turn.

- 18-h: Drop right foot back into deepest and longest left front stance you can, sweeping the staff back with right hand to lay parallel next to right leg head of staff by right foot. Left hand in knife guard in front of bowed head.

- 18-i: Bring right foot to left.
